Lately for the last 2 months I have been learning copywriting, and today I learned “How to increase selling power of copy”.
I decided to share everything I learned about copywriting on my blog now on. Here is what I learned today.
Don’t Try To Be Creative And Smart, Be direct – Use Present tense, use second person.
Use “you” instead of “I, we, etc. Because it is direct. For example instead of saying people will need this product, say you need this product.
Don’t say… people will like this, say… you like this. When you say things like we or me it is not powerful, and it is not direct.
Let’s say if you say to someone “People will be satisfied buying it.” Then that person will imagine other people being satisfied not himself/herself.
If you say, “you feel satisfied” then he or she can feel satisfied buying it.
aSo every time you write an advertisement, make sure write you, you, and you.
