One of the common mistakes in copywriting or writing an ad is instead of saying the benefit, people tend to just state the features and descriptions only.
Features and descriptions are important but without knowing the benefits people won’t buy.
The thing about only telling the features are that people almost already know them. People would say, “Ya, I know, so what’s in it for me?”
When you explain the benefit, people will know what is unique about your product. And why they have to buy.
When you explain the benefits tell them what they get and don’t get if they don’t buy.
For example, if I were to buy a new watch, what would make it better that the average watch or the watch that I have now? I would wanna know all the benefits.
I will buy the watch If the benefits are better than my current watch or iif I have the, “I got to have that!” feeling or if i don’t buy that watch i’d feel like I’m missing something.
